Miracles
I was introduced to Chi by one of my closest friends, she is a childhood friend of hers from the Philippines. I had the privilege to meet Chi and her family while they are here in the US for a special treatment for her son’s spine. My short time with them was very special, I was inspired by the grace and kindness of God in their lives, especially in the life of her son, Sancho, a kind and courageous young man. I was captivated by Chi’s motherly love, joy and strength.
They were beautiful. Their story is beautiful.
Dear Lord, Thank you for the love you have poured out on their lives,
and keep them close to you and give them comfort in their journey here. Amen.
Chi recently posted this on Facebook, may her faith encourage you today. “Sometimes I catch my 14 year old being still, just like this. His gaze fixed on the water, the skyline, or the distant horizon. I simply let him, wondering what could be in his thoughts. When I look at him, all I see is the mercy of God. In His goodness the Lord has transformed Super Sancho and made him whole in so many ways.
